Browsing the journal
The site’s own page code does not include advertising trackers, analytics scripts, account registration or third-party font requests. Page delivery necessarily involves technical information such as an IP address, requested resource and browser request details. Hosting and network providers may process or log that information for delivery, security and troubleshooting under their own service arrangements.
Local message drafts
The contact tool constructs text in your browser. It does not send the entered content to an application server and does not deliberately save drafts in cookies, localStorage or sessionStorage. Your browser may independently retain form values or restore a page. Avoid sensitive information and clear the form or close the page when using a shared device.
Clipboard and downloads
The Copy action requests clipboard writing only after you activate it. The Download action creates a local plain-text file. Copied text and saved files are under your device’s control and may remain after you leave the site. The journal cannot remove those copies for you.
Email you choose to send
If you send an email, the recipient receives your address, message and any information you include. That correspondence may be used to respond, investigate a correction, address a privacy request or protect the service. Email providers process messages as part of delivery and storage. Do not email medical records or confidential documents.
Retention and sharing
Local composer drafts are not retained by the site code. Correspondence should be kept only as needed for its purpose, necessary records, security or applicable legal obligations. No fixed retention period is promised here. The site code does not sell draft content or transmit it to advertisers. Necessary hosting and email services, and disclosures required by law, are distinct from advertising use.
